Wildlife, waterfalls and wild fires.. Oh my!

Hello again, sorry it's been a while. And yes we've fallen behind again with the blog! Below are some photos from when we were at Wangi Falls at Litchfield National Park, we then moved on to Kakadu National Park, then headed west to W.A. We stayed at Lake Argyle then started the Gibb River Road - first stop El Questro!

The moon was massive over Victoria River this night. The photo doesn't do it justice!

Heading to El Questro

Zebedee Springs, El Questro (above and below)

Top Pool at El Questro Gorge... a 6+km return ROUGH walk or should I say climb up huge boulders. Never again! (It was beautiful though)

Saddleback Ridge Lookout, El Questro

These flowers are everywhere - very pretty and apparently edible!

This guy was sunbaking along the walk into Emma Gorge (El Questro)

Shane took this at Home Valley Station. It was a beautiful night for stars!

Our camp set up at Drysdale Station (above and below). Whitney not that thrilled to be in a tent after the comforts of the caravan... especially when the temperature dropped and we didn't even pack sleeping bags!

Kalamburu Road (heading to Mitchell Falls). A couple of tourists rolled this the day before we went by. We were told they escaped with minor injuries. How on earth.....
